Privacy Policy

This policy explains what The Chavez Team at The Agency ("we") collects through chavezhomes.com, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. It is written to be read, not skimmed past.

Effective dateSeptember 8, 2026

Who we are

The Chavez Team at The Agency is a licensed California real estate team. Team lead: Ismael Chavez, Broker Associate, CA DRE #01797522. Brokerage: The Agency, 3426 East Coast Hwy, Corona Del Mar, CA 92625. Team office: 5924 E Naples Plaza, Long Beach, CA 90803.

Privacy contact: info@chavezhomes.com or (714) 328-4776.

What we collect

Only what you type into a form. The home search form collects your name, email, phone, the city, price range, beds and baths you are looking for, your timeline and financing status, and any notes. The home valuation form collects your name, email, phone, the property address, your timeline and notes. The contact form collects your name, email, phone and your message.

With every submission we also record the language you were using (English or Spanish), the page you submitted from, and the time. We do not collect payment information, government identifiers, or precise location.

We use Google Analytics (Google Analytics 4) as our analytics provider to understand how this site is used; it sets analytics cookies and receives page and interaction data, never your name, email address, phone number or message text. This site runs no advertising trackers and sets no marketing cookies. Two items are kept in your browser's local storage: your language choice and whether you dismissed the cookie notice.

How we use it

To respond to your inquiry. That is the purpose. A buyer search is used to send you matching homes; a valuation request is used to prepare and deliver a valuation; a contact message is used to answer it. We may follow up by phone, text or email about the inquiry you made.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We have not sold or shared personal information in the preceding 12 months.

Where it is stored and who can see it

Submissions are stored in a secured database hosted by our website platform provider and are emailed to our team inbox so a licensed team member can respond. Our email delivery provider processes the message to send it. These providers act on our instructions and may not use your information for anything else.

Access is limited to members of The Chavez Team at The Agency and the people who maintain this website.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry records for as long as needed to respond and to meet California real estate record-keeping obligations, then delete them. You can ask us to delete your submission at any time (see your rights below), subject to records we are legally required to retain.

Your California privacy rights (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a California resident you have the right to: know what personal information we have collected about you and how it is used; request a copy of it; request that we correct it; request that we delete it; opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information (we do not sell or share it); limit the use of sensitive personal information (we do not collect any); and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

To make a request, email info@chavezhomes.com with the subject line "Privacy request", or call (714) 328-4776. We will confirm your identity by matching the details in your request to the submission on file, and respond within 45 days. You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf; we will ask for proof of that authorization.

Text messages

If you give us a mobile number we may text you about your inquiry. Reply STOP to any message to opt out. Message and data rates may apply.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we collect or use information, we will update this page and the effective date above. Material changes will be flagged at the top of the page.
