Howzit, I'm Jon. I've lived in Cypress since 1998 — Morris Elementary, Lexington Junior High, then Cypress High, where I ran cross country and played baseball. These days I'm still here with my wife Debbie, our sons Nolan and Nathaniel, and Oaklie the goldendoodle, and you'll find me on the sidelines most weekends as a volunteer AYSO coach.

That's a long way of saying I know 90630 street by street: which streets flood, which tracts have the big lots, which parks fill up on Saturdays, and where the good tacos are. When you're buying or selling here, that's the stuff that actually matters.

Ismael has also made me the team's Huntington Beach specialist — so if you're looking south of the 405, that's me too.

Before real estate I spent 15+ years in product and program management, then went back for an MBA at UC Irvine focused on real estate and digital transformation. So you get the neighbor who knows the block and the project manager who keeps the timeline honest — clear numbers, no surprises.

Hector is a U.S. Army veteran with more than 15 years of operational leadership. He works across residential, commercial and mixed-use transactions, investment acquisitions and new construction, and guides investors expanding their portfolios in California and out of state.

He is dual-licensed — a real estate agent and a mortgage loan originator. His lending background covers construction lending, business acquisitions and DSCR financing, so he can walk a client through both sides of a deal: the property and the money behind it.

Sal Ortiz is a mortgage professional and Team Leader with Star Financial, dedicated to helping homebuyers, real estate professionals, and investors navigate today's lending landscape with confidence.

As a lending partner of The Chavez Team at The Agency, Sal works closely with real estate professionals and investors to provide creative financing solutions and a level of communication and support that helps get deals across the finish line. His experience spans conventional, FHA, VA, down payment assistance, Non-QM, Private Investor, and other specialized lending programs, allowing him to approach each transaction with a solution-oriented mindset.

Sal is also the founder of the Lockstar Movement, a coaching community focused on helping real estate professionals become better at sales, marketing, and product knowledge. Through the Lockstar Movement, Sal shares real world strategies, industry knowledge, and practical tools designed to help agents and other real estate professionals grow their business and better serve their clients.

Whether he's helping a first-time homebuyer, structuring financing for an investor, working alongside an agent on a challenging transaction, or coaching real estate professionals, Sal's goal is the same: provide the knowledge, communication, and creative solutions needed to make the deal happen.
