El Segundo Homes for Sale

El Segundo is split down the middle by function. West of Sepulveda is a residential grid of numbered streets around Main Street — a genuinely small-town downtown with the library, the Old Town Music Hall, City Hall and the Thursday market all in a few blocks. East of Sepulveda is the employment side: the aerospace and defense campuses, the studio and tech offices along Rosecrans, and the practice facilities of the Lakers and Kings.
Housing on the west side is mostly 1920s–1950s single-family homes on small, flat lots, with duplexes and a modest number of condominiums and townhomes mixed in. LAX sits directly north, which explains both the commute and the aircraft overhead; the 105 and 405 are minutes away, and the Metro C Line stops at Douglas and El Segundo.
